Personal responsibility and dependable legal representation

Certified professional guardian in Berlin and Brandenburg

As a certified professional guardian, I legally represent a minor and base every decision on the young person’s welfare, rights and growing autonomy.

The guardian’s task

A German family court establishes guardianship when parents cannot or may not exercise parental responsibility. The guardian assumes legal responsibility within the court-defined scope under sections 1773 et seq. BGB.

  • Regular personal contact with the child or young person
  • Representation before authorities, schools, medical services and other institutions
  • Decisions about residence, health, education, benefits and assets within the mandate
  • Participation of the young person according to age, maturity and development
  • Documentation, reporting and accountability to the family court

My professional approach

Guardianship is not administration from a distance. It requires a personal relationship, clear responsibility, accessibility and reasoned decisions. The child is a rights-holder and active participant, not the object of a measure.

Enquiries and capacity

I assess enquiries from courts and youth welfare services against the mandate, urgency, location and actual capacity. A case is accepted only after formal court appointment.
