This Privacy Policy provides information about the processing of personal data on a data-minimising website that does not use analytics or marketing tracking.

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany.

When the website is accessed, IONOS processes technically necessary connection data, in particular the IP address, date and time of access, the file requested, the referrer, and information about the browser and operating system used.

This processing serves to provide the website securely and reliably and is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The retention period depends on the technical and contractual hosting functions used and on applicable legal requirements.

3. Contacting me

When you contact me by email or telephone, the information you provide is processed for the purpose of handling your enquiry.

Depending on the content of the enquiry, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b), (c), (e) or (f) GDPR.

Sensitive data and documents relating to court proceedings should only be transmitted through a secure communication channel agreed in advance.

4. Communication via eBO

For electronic legal communication with courts, I use a special electronic mailbox for citizens and organisations, known as an eBO.

Messages are transmitted within the judicial infrastructure through a secure transmission channel. The identity of the mailbox holder is verified during the registration procedure.

The messages, documents and metadata required for the respective proceedings are processed.

The specific legal basis depends on the appointment by the court, applicable legal obligations and the necessity of establishing, exercising or defending legal claims. Where special categories of personal data are concerned, Article 9(2)(f) GDPR may apply.

The eBO is not part of this website and does not use any tracking technology on this website.

5. Cookies and local settings

This website does not use analytics or marketing cookies.

Only technically necessary cookies and local settings are used insofar as they are required for the operation of the website.

Settings such as language, contrast or font size may be stored locally on the user’s device.

6. Digital Orientation Assistant

The optional Digital Orientation Assistant answers only general questions about my professional activities, cooperation, available languages, the eBO and contact options.

All entries are processed exclusively locally within the browser and are not transmitted to external artificial intelligence services or servers.

No personal data is stored.

Nevertheless, please do not enter names, case reference numbers, health data or confidential details relating to individual cases.

The Digital Orientation Assistant does not replace legal advice, psychological counselling or an assessment of an individual case.

7. Recipients and transfers to third countries

Personal data is disclosed to third parties only where this is necessary to deal with an enquiry, where there is a legal obligation to do so, or where the data subject has given consent.

As a general rule, no personal data is transferred through this website to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

Should external services be integrated in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

8. Retention period and data subject rights

Personal data is stored only for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or for as long as statutory retention periods apply.

Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR, data subjects have, in particular, the following rights:

  • the right of access to stored personal data;
  • the right to rectification of inaccurate data;
  • the right to erasure of personal data;
  • the right to restriction of processing;
  • the right to data portability;
  • the right to object to processing.

In addition, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.

9. Security and updates

This website is operated using encrypted HTTPS connections.

WordPress, the website theme and the installed plugins are updated regularly in order to maintain an appropriate level of security.

Despite all technical and organisational measures, complete protection against every security risk on the internet cannot be guaranteed.

This Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly in the event of technical, organisational or legal changes.
